I don't usually respond to antidepressants this far into treatment. I began to improve in week 3. That improvement was episodic and lasted for about two weeks. It waned thereafter but has been reestablished since the dosage was increased. I have an uncommon type of bipolar disorder in which mania only appears in association with medication. Otherwise I am severely depressed 24/7/52/12/28.
It's been rough.
