Hi! I am in the US and my pdoc gave me a prescription for thorazine that I carry with me at all times. It is not a substitute for going to the hospital in case of a hypertensive crisis but as an adjunct to use on the way to the hospital!
I have never heard of a spontaneous hypertensive crisis. That is interesting but something I will not dwell on out or I will stop the Parnate. I had a hypertensive crisis when the pdoc changed me from Nardil to Parnate. He had me wait two weeks before I started the Parnate. However, the Nardil was apparently still in my system and caused the crisis. Fortunately, I was working at a University hospital at the time.
I miss cheddar cheese too but at least I can still eat pizza!!!
