No, the half life is determined by the circulation in the bloodstream. It seems that you, if this is possible, since benzodiazepine tablets are generally not sustained or delayed release (except Restoril and I'm not even sure there, its just a drug delivery shell for messy powder), have possibly altered some sort of release in the binding powder of the medication.

All that is changed, if it isn't a placebo effect, or sheer luck, is the "time to peak plasma level."
