Well, actually, they don't know how it works, but people seem to think that it acts like a very weak MAOI.
It might be too weak in Maxime's case, but on the other hand, if she's running out of meds to try.... and it has helped me far more than any of the SSRIs/SNRIs/WEllbutrin ever did. Plus I live in the UK and basically, it is very hard to get your hands on a MAOI/benzos....
