The cost is definitely a problem. Fortunately, the doses used to treat depression are often quite low. Abilify has a long half life, some people are able to take it on alternate days.

You have to have been off fluoxetine for 5 weeks before restarting Parnate. This might be a good opportunity to try a different class of medication. Mirapex is an interesting option. Close monitoring by your pdoc would be essential.
