Hi.I had the same problem with Ativan. After long term use, I became severely depressed. I am pretty sure I would have been depressed anyway, but the Ativan made it worse.
Effexor really helped me for a long time. Unfortunately it pooped out and now when I try to go back to it, it makes me more anxious, rather than less. Go figure.
