In some countries the lowest strength is 25mg. The 10mg tablets are probably the most popular strength in the UK though. Very low doses can be effective but there is a risk of permanent movement disorders (tardive dyskinesia) if chlorpromazine is taken regularly/daily for several months. Daily use for more than 4 weeks is inadvisable.
Cutting the 25mg tablets in half can be useful. You could take half a tablet up to three times a day.
