It's just me, but I would stop moclobemide immediately. No taper. Just stop. It would not surprise me if you feel a whole lot better within one to three days after stopping. And then you can rethink what to do next.

Could it go on to work if you stick with it? Maybe. But I doubt it. Just my opinion though. I think one of the most important rules with any med, herb, supplement, or anything is that if you feel dramatically worse right away, especially if you feel suicidal, then it is very important to stop immediately. Your body is trying to tell you something.

Just so you know you aren't alone, I had the very same reaction to moclobemide. I stuck with it for two weeks and it never got better. It was real real bad. I felt relieved just to get back to my regular old depression instead of the intense moclobemibe depression. And for a couple days after stopping, there was actually a sort of rebound that felt good.
