Provigil is not good for sex drive.
Like you, it was impossible for me to function on 7-9 hours of sleep a day. And it simply isn't feasible to sleep 12 hours a day, nor to experience the constant drowsiness and confusion (I feel drunk when the drug wears off, which is actually better than how I felt when Ritalin would wear off, which would be complete inner chaos and exhaustion). But it's a harsh drug in terms of side effects.
