I have lost about 10 pounds since starting effexor xr.so I definately think it depends on your metabolism,it effects different people in different ways.i no longer have any side affects either,they have all gone,as have my panic attacks..I haven't felt this good in years!!!I am on 75mg a day for the last 3 months..
