Hi Journey~
The only thing that I can think of regarding the skin problems on Effexor, is possibly diet? I haven't noticed the med. itself causing acne, in the 2 years that I've been on it...BUT, I will say that I do crave junk food..and if I eat too many fritos, my skin looks pretty bad. I also gained 10 lbs., before I realized that I had to conrol my desire to eat an entire package of oreos in one sitting. Thankfully, my weight an skin issues leveled off, when I stopped being a junk-a-holic. :~)
I would say that if it's not your diet, then it couldn't hurt to see a Dermatologist...if you haven't already done so.
