I stopped Xanax XR after 6 months with no problem, When I stopped Klonopin I thought I was loosing my mind! All Klonopin did for me long term was depress me and make me feel like I was 100 years old. Xanax XR actually has AD effects and worked great for me. The only reason I stopped was to try an anticonvulsant.
