I take 5mg of Aricept (I tried upping it to 10mg after a couple of months, but found after a few days it induced mania and a bit of psychosis (is that hypomania?) anyway, I'm not even manic, so, I brought it back down to 5mg.
I augment it with 10mg of Desoxyn 2x/day, and Lexapro 30mg/day, and 1mg 3x/day of Klonopin.
For Aricept's GI side effects (upset stomach, acid reflux) I take Prilosec from my doctor, generic.
Been on it for months. I like to think it makes me better...
