Greetings everyone.
I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me out with.
My mother has been taking Parnate, an MAOI, for nearly 20 years.
Can she consume olive oil? She's always assumed that she can't, since she's not supposed to eat olives. However, after doing a bit of web research, I haven't been able to find any information at all on MAOIs and olive oil.
Does anyone know whether it's safe? SO many things are either cooked in olive oil or contain olive oil, so it would be a great relief to find out if she could eat it.
