getting off zoloft, excercise

Posted by noah robinson on November 6, 2005, at 12:09:21

I was taking an ssri and wellbutrin for the last 2.5 yrs for generalized anxiety disorder. Starting a year ago I switched from paxil to Zoloft (50 mg) and continued with wellbutrin 150mg. My life circumstances have significantly changed since I first started on an ssri so I decide to see how I would be without any meds. Starting three weeks ago I began weaning myself off the meds and for the last week I have not been on any. To try to increase my chance of success I increased my exercise during the last three weeks from riding a stationary bike for 30 minutes, three times per week, to riding the bike 6 times per week for 30 minutes each time. Much to my surprise I have felt more calm and optimistic during the last three weeks than when I was on the medications. Any thought or reactions would be great! Thanks.
