From my own experience, and for what that counts for, I must say that the Wellbutrin has certainly helped with the sexual side effects of Effexor. I.E., the libido and the orgasm. Being single on Effexor: Hmmmm...for the OCD (for me) and the social anxiety, great! The sexual side effects, would be a big no! Can you add Wellbutrin? Would Wellbutrin by itself be effective for you? Questions for your prescribing Dr., I am sure.
And now, for the record, I know what others mean when they talk of the "brain buzzing". Weird sensation, not wholly unpleasant, not pleasant, just weird.
