Modafinil tolerence + augmentation

I've been very impressed with modafinil so far. However I read many accounts of tolerence and poop out. So I have these questions:
Can modafinil itself be augmented?
Is there a cross-tolerence with Adrafinil, the other 'good arousal' med? ie, if a tolerence of modafinil built, would adrafinil have a 'fresh' effect?
Also, I'm considering adding Taurine to my mixture (Phenelzine + Modafinil + Taurine) to help with the slight tensness I can with the modafinil. Any thoughts?
I doubt theres much data on these subjects but any theories or thoughts appreciated.
