It's funny but I did a Wellbutrin SR (actually bupropion SR 100mg) experiment two days ago and had a similar result. I took it about 1:30 PM and didn't feel much the rest of the day except some mild sympathetic activity like piloerection (hair standing on end). I only got a couple of hours of sleep that night, but I haven't been sleeping well since I started lamictal about six weeks ago. Anyway I was tired and cranky when I got out of bed in the morning but as the morning progressed I could feel something was different. I ended up having the best day I've had in quite a while. Like a cloud had lifted. I must be a slow metabolizer. I'm going to try taking it every other day and see what happens. A couple of months ago I took it every day for a couple of weeks but after the first day it was knocking me out. Not this time. If I can take it every other day and figure out a way to get some sleep I might be onto something. Keep me posted...
