Hi Paul. Your experience with Celexa sounds similar to mine; however, each time I tried Celexa, the severe psychomotor retardation, depression, apathy and complete lack of motivation occurred sooner. The first time I took it, it took a few weeks before I turned into a spineless zombie. The next time I took it, a week or two passed before I turned into a limp rag. The last time I tried it (hope springs eternal), I became almost brain-dead and body-dead within a few days. The adverse sexual effects, such as becoming numb from the waist down (and the waist up, for that matter) occurred overnight. What a disappointment! Believe it or not, I have actually met a few folks on this board who have done very well on Celexa.
