It depends on how they work, and people's biochemistry.

Klonopin isnt that depressing for me becuase i can pull myself out of anything.

Ativan is generally relaxing with out the depressing effect of Klonopin, Klonopin seems to be labeled antipanic becuase it is more mentally potent. 3mg will almost put you to sleep. 3mg of Lorazepam for me was just laid back.

I have never taken Diazepam (Valium) but i heard that it is depressing for some people but i dont belive it is mentally potent like Klonopin.

Xanax i think is the only one that seems to be a mood elevetor, i dont know why. Maybe why thats its prone to abuse. I have read abstacts that it stimulantes the reward center at low doses.
