In reply to The strangness of ANXIETY symptoms - Question, posted by Glydin on August 21, 2005, at 22:43:03

> My strange symptom is a startle type response as Iím falling asleep or as Iím waking. This is different from a sleep paralysis feeling, which I have experienced also. This feels akin to a mini panic attack. Itís very short-lived lasting 15 Ė 30 seconds but can cluster when in the in between sleep and wake state. Itís very unsettling as anxiety symptoms areÖ Klonopin helps this but it takes a while to get into my system after a period off. So, I struggle with them for several days even if things go well once the K kicks in.

Yes, I have had those little uncomfortable sizzles in high stress times even though I am on Zanax daily.
I have also started with the mini-zaps, but have worked up to almost seizure-type shaking, shivering and jerking from too much serotonin. It is a variation of the norm.
Hope this helps you. up 'n' down
