I agree totally, the individual must really want to stop drinking first and foremost, medication has it's limits.
i am really dedicated to stopping this time around. i go to a dual disoreder meeting in my area, and i should make more a.a. meetings.

congrats on 2 and a half years sober, that is truly an accomplisment in my eyes. the longest i've gone is a year. i think prozac does help me stay sober longer by helping my ocd. i will still ask my doctor about campril and revia just to see what he thinks. my therapist said he has worked with many alcoholics in the past, that is why she suggested him.
