1.5-2 mg Klonopin is extremely sedating for me and I have only used it for emergencies. I have taken 0.5 mg b.i.d. for a year and a half and it its sedating effect has diminished, but not its anxiolysis. But even 1.25 mg Klonopin in a day can produce severe fatigue and memory impairment. However, I took it during the day exclusively, to help with social phobia.

20 mg nortriptyline was good for chronic IBS-related pain and was neither sedating nor helped with sleep. Increasing the dosage will probably help with sleep, but expect bothersome sedation for about 2 weeks.
