Okay, first of all, the Neurontin is not doing anything but being a placebo at 20-30mg. It would be documented if that were ever true.
Neurontin barely works for me at 400mg, and generally helps me at 800mg, but gives me brain fog so I feel retarded so much I gave it up years ago and replaced it with 1mg Klonopin 3x/day.
Second, GET OFF THE XYREM.
Xyrem causes depression in about 9% of patients who take it, and lifetime use unless you're suffering from chronic narcolepsy is very dangerous. Its sodium content is excessive, and that can cause hypertension.
Xyrem is only non-habit forming IF it's only taken at nighttime. Daytime use, like with alcohol, leads to the addiction of it. It's due to its excessively short half-life. Trust me, there's meds that don't make you mentally retarded and sweaty and depressed and give you AM anxiety and give you emotional lability that help social anxiety.
I was told by a friend that someone saw me once and he said to her that I looked like soImeone had died. It made me that depressed the morning after taking it. I also vomitted for weeks each night not knowing it, until my roommates happened to mention it assuming I recalled doing it each night. It kills your memory.
And yes, it was prescription Xyrem.
I also eventually looked like Death with black bags under my eyes at age 19. Stop now.
Increase your Klonopin dose to 1mg 3x/day, kill everything else, and add a high dose of Lexapro or Zoloft or your doc's favorite med.Or don't, become me, and get a 1.20 GPA and hope you can complete school in 5 years as an undergrad because you thought Xyrem was somehow going to HELP your cause.
If you're not taking an SSRI yet bothering to take Xyrem, and if you're not upping your Klonopin dose with your doc, you need therpay because these are not rational things to follow. If your doc is giving you Xyrem but not higher doses of Klonopin, then see a new doc. Kill the Xyrem.
Also, Xyrem is extremely dangerous when combined with benzos like Klonopin, so don't ever do that mix again.
It's your life, so if you want to take a medicine that lasts for 90 minutes instead of 6-12 hours like Klonopin does, I can't stop you from being as stupid as I once was...
