At the same time I developed dark spots and later indentations on my front teeth as well as others. Perhaps this was from the vitamin B6 deficiency. Has anyone ever heard of damage to teeth occuring because of MAOI usage?

Hi jhm.

I too believe I had B6 difficiency whilst on Nardil. I took B6 from the very beginning but one day, after about 8 months I ran out and didn't bother buying any more. Then after a while I started to get very numb fingers to the point that I could prick them with a pin and feel nothing. I didn't see the connection at first, but remembered that B6 deficiency can cause numbness in the extremeties, and even peripheral neuropathy.

So I started taking B6 again (100mg/day) and it did indeed dissapear.

I couldn't convince my Doc mind you!

Kev.
