I know the feeling, the Celexa takes a little while to work. I also feel overwhelmed when I have to do something important, and I just tell myself that it is important for my child to remember this time as a good time and not allow my problems to become theirs. I know it is hard to will yourself, but when I am in the situation I do find happiness. It seems I too am daunted by the thoughts of doing things and going out, but find when I just push myself and go I feel better. You will feel better soon. You have to remember you weren't always depressed and you won't stay that way.

Good luck.
