Hi Chess,
Clomipramine blocks the reuptake of serotonin. Clomipramine's major metabolite blocks the reuptake of NE.
Clomipramine has several other actions too eg. it blocks certain serotonin receptors.
I have known people to respond to clomipramine (for OCD) after SSRIs have failed.
How long have you been on Lexapro?
