By the fourth day of amitriptyline I found myself becoming ragingly angry over the smallest thing. I wanted to kick things and curse at people who got in my way. I also got a bad headache.

By the way, I'm also NE sensitive. (Increased anxiety on cymbalta and on nortriptyline. Not on Effexor but I took a very small dose 37.5mg).
