It's great that Parnate is working out for you!

A headache on starting a new AD is pretty common; it should go away in time.

Exercise should not increase your insomnia, unless you are doing the exercise very late at night. In fact, exercise should help you sleep. If you are worried that your whey protein is keeping you awake, you might try switching to a whey protein that has a higher proportion of tryptophan. Melatonin does make some people depressed, but others are fine with it. Trazodone is used with MAOI's, but if you don't like it, you might try low dose (e.g. 15 mg) Remeron, or Lunesta as Bill suggested. Lunesta is a new drug that is approved as a long term sleep aid; Benzos are not, although they are often used long term. Klonopin has the longest half-life of all of the Benzos, so it will probably make you tired in the morning when you first begin taking it, but lots of people get over this effect. Viridis is a poster who has a lot of information about Klonopin and had a good experience with it. You might search for his posts if you are interested in Klonopin.
