What does your illness look like without medication?Many doctors are beginning to consider Neurontin to have no value in treating affective disorders. I'm not sure I agree with that, but it is probably more limited than what they thought a few years ago when Neurontin was being prescribed to everyone. By itself, I don't think too many physicians feel it is effective. I would not discount it, but it is probably better when combined with a drug like Lamictal.
