I lactate on all antipsychotics and it starts within 2-3 days of taking them. It is VERY painful. My doctor said that sometimes putting of the side effect can be worth it ... he is male. It is so painful that I would wake up in the middle of night when I turned over. This is not a side effect that goes away.
However, since it didn't happen to you the first time, you should get your prolactin level checked. You need to wait 4 months from this last episode and go the week after you have had your period.
