I took .5mg risperdal and it made my mouth burn. It's not dry mouth, its something different than that. My tongue would burn and so would the roof of my mouth, and I know its the med because nothing else changed during the time I was taking it. The only complaint I have about the risperdal is the mouth burning thing and it also made me constipated.
The geodon does the same thing to my mouth and so far it also has made me constipated. One other thing I've noticed about it is that if I drink any caffeine it magnifies the effect of it. I usually drink caffeine free soda, but when I'm at a restaurant they usually don't have caffeine-free diet coke, so I drink the regular stuff. I'm all hyped up for a few hours after I drink it now that I'm taking the geodon.
Its done its job as far as the medicinal part of it, but the side effects for me just aren't tolerable.
