Hi,
I don't know how long you were first at 20mg, but sometimes increased anxiety can be a start-up side effect, which tends to go away after being on the med for 2 or 3 weeks. So, don't give up yet. I experienced increased anxiety when I was put on Paxil a number of years ago, but it subsided and Paxil did end up being very good for both my anxiety and depression. In the meantime, don't be afraid to use the Klonopin to help quell the anxiety you are experiencing while adjusting to the increased dose. If, after a couple of weeks at the increased dose you are still experiencing a lot of anxiety, then perhaps it is time to consider a different AD.
