hey! I did the anti-depressant+mood-stabilizer+adderall thing, and it worked pretty well. The upshot of mixing an anti-depressant with adderall is that, in theory at least, a stimulant+anti-depressant will work better for depression and maybe ADD than using just one of them alone. I personally took Tofranil-PM, which is a slightly re-formulated tricyclic (read: old-school) anti-depressant. The major downside of this combo was that tricyclics are kinda rough the first week or so. The upshot is that tricyclics and stimulants (particularly amphetamines like dexedrine or adderall) kind of play off each other, so the anti-depressant works a little faster and little better and the stimulant has a little more "oomph". You also run the risk of cardiovascular side-effects and fevers, though. If you're having anxiety and depression, Wellbutrin wouldn't be my first choice. Personally, I'd try zoloft OR a dual-reuptake inhibitor, like cymbalta or effexor. You might also want to look into BuSpar, which can add some oomph to anti-depressants that work on serotonin. Good luck.
