I would say that it helps the most with my anger...it also seems to prevent recurrent episodes of severe depression. Lithium was more effective as far as treating my depressive symptoms, and Lamictal even more so. Depakote, as I already mentioned, has been the best as far as generalized anxiety. Lamictal was probably the most pro-social, because it was the least sedating and didn't cause any residual anxiety. Depakote has caused me to put on a considerable amount of weight and is the worst as far as fatigue.
