I've been on Effexor for 5 days. So far, I can tell an amazing difference! I am starting with the 37.5 mg. and moving to 75 in the next day or so. I have more energy than I have in years. I don't dwell on bad things. I was wrapping up in a blanket and sleeping from the time I got home from work until the next morning. Now, I'm not sleepy at all. That is one of the side effects for me -- restlessness when I'm supposed to be sleeping. My heart does beat funny sometimes, like it's beating through my shirt. I'd rather be up and energized than sleeping all the time.
