I picked my 36mg Concerta and will start tomorrow. I think the hold up with my doc is he wants to play it safe and for me to try the 36mg. If it fails and I go in to see him, I'm sure I can try Adderall. Did the increased dopamine boost increase your sex drive, or was it just a guy thing?
The only thing that makes me hesitant is going down that road. Concerta's a prime example. Started out great with 18mg (sex drive increased!) and 15 days later, not feeling effects and going up in dose. From what I hear, Adderall and all stims have this same problem and where do you end up? Honestly, I think stims are good as an add on and I'm sort of "tesing" them since I'm on no other meds currently, to get a true read on the "anxiety" factor, which by the way Concerta causes no anxiety with me which really suprised me after reading all the negative posts about it. The only side I'm having is a headache that hits a few hours after I take it.
