Yes
I do take Pregabalin for Social Anxiety, in devided dose of up to 600mg.

My feelings about this med are very mixed

I have tried Diazepam (which didn't work for SP) and Clonazepam which made me depressed.
I preffer Pregabalin to both these meds, it does not cause cognitive dulling or depression, infact it makes me rather euphoric.

The problem is that tolerance develops very quickly, within about three days for me.
Effectivness does return if I give myself a drug holiday, but it means that I can only use the drug for about three days a week.
Raising the dose does not help with this tolerance.
Needless to say this is not ideal

To conclude I think that Pregabalin might be effective as an add on treatment for SA, but should not be the mainstay.

Its also very expensive
