Actually I have a 1956 AD for Dexamyl here

"This carefully balanced formula helps relieve BOTH anxiety and depression"

It states it was available in the following
-Tablet 5mgs Dextroamphetamine 1/2 grain Amobarbital
-Liquid Elixer!! 5cc=5mg Dextroamphetamine 1/2 grain Amobarbital
-10mg Spansule SR capsules 10mg Dextroamphetamine 1 grain Amobarbital
-15mg Spansule SR capsules 15mg Dextroamphetamine 1 1/2 grains Amobarbital

1 Grain=40mgs


"A Barbiturate can also be administered with a centrally active sympathomimetic-amine such as Dextro amphetamine for the salutary effect of the combination on mood, anxiety, and tension"
