Spriggy;

I have been following your posts, we've very similar! I just went to a Thyroidologist (endo specializing in only thyroid) and started taking Synthroid for hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, Goiter, you name it I got it. Family history of thyroid disorder plus being bipolar on lithium has made my thyroid very unhappy.

Along with your weird thing - my TSH:
Jan 2.4
Feb 5.1
Mar 2.7
Apr 4.3

I didn't start the synthroid until March. Found this site today, talking about why there may be variations. Hope it helps you.

I think I heard someone on the board mention about.com - the thyroid information there is pretty helpful and covers a good deal.

Hope you are feeling better!

I just got my blood work results in the mail.
