Years ago when my pdoc wanted to take me off xanax for a rest he substituted klonopin. One Sunday out of the blue I said to my husband I think I feel suicidal. We called the pdoc and he said to go off the klonopin and start back on the xanax. He spoke on his car phone almost to himself when he said "it's the klonopin". I didn't want to die. That was what was so strange. I went back on the xanax and the feelings went away. Years later when I took it it just made me feel dumb. Fondly, Phillipa
