Hi Ed,

Thanks for your post. I think you're right, that it hasn't been very well studied (at least not in USA where I am, or most other places). Though, I've read that it has been pretty well studied in Germany and is widely used there (as is St. John's Wort - funny, different countries seem to have very different meds. preferences).

Trileptal seems to be like a "Tegretol lite" in some ways.

But the fact that it doesn't have Tegretol's heavy CYP450 effect, makes it worth checking out at least.
