okay rainbowbrite - i understand that communication, and communication btwn sufferers is part of the raison d'etre of the board. and i would never want to stifle it, or even suggest that. but is it also a sounding board for whatever thoughts come into our heads? i don't know - maybe it is. and i guess i empathize with anyone, celebrity or not, who is dealing with a serious psychic matter. but, there are those of us who are less fortunate, and have to make do with what we can, and quite frankly, i am not enamoured of the cult of celebrity worship we have here in the West.
if they were great thinkers - if they were of 'renaissance' quality - then maybe i would be on board. but there are few heroes in that world. and who should we look up to but real heroes? but then celebrities are maybe just our pale fascimile in the present age. or maybe they are just a pleasant diversion from the drudgery or daily life and/or our mental states.
but count me out of that circus.
