no more anxiety..

Posted by Spriggy on March 22, 2005, at 13:07:11

The weirdest thing happened today.

EVERY single morning since before Christmas, I wake up with that horrible "knot" in the pit of my stomach. It's that anxiety that feels like your insides are doing jumping jacks (which might explain the recent weight loss!).

Anyway, it's there EVERY morning. I dread falling asleep becuase I know what I'll wake up to.

So... they then tell me I am likely diabetic and I find out my blood sugar is on the low side in the morning. Not necesarrily REALLY low but between 65-75.

They've had me on Klonopin (.25 twice a day) for about 5 weeks now. I decided on my own to not take it for a few days ( I weaned down to like .12 once a day so I wouldn't wig out)..

Anyway, I woke up this morning and for the first time in 3 months, I had NOOOOOOO ANXIETY. NONE. My stomach wasn't jittery, I felt normal (besides this flu bug I have which makes me feel like death- I feel "normal").

What is up with that?

Could the Klonopin really be making me jittery and worse or am I just imagining all this?

I checked my blood sugar and it was still a little low (74).

So nothing drastic has changed there. The only thing different is the no Klonopin and the flu bug.

Maybe this flu is healing my anxiety because I am so consumed with feeling like I got hit by a Mack Truck that I don't even realize I'm still mental. ha ha ha.
