My guess is that its an increased sensitivity in your sense of smell. I know that Trazadone, Nefazodone and Mirtazapine can effect you like that. Any time you tinker with your brain chemistry you have to understand that you may get strange side-effects. I lost my sense of taste for a few days while changing meds once (I dont remember which one caused it offhand).
