I did the same thing with Lexapro except I had already stopped taking it. I guess it depends on the doctor, asking mine for a change just doesn't work. Both times he was very agreeable and not angry at all, which shocked me. I know it can be hard to stand up for yourself, it's new for me too, but what do you have to lose?
