I've tried Seraquel for sleep and it was very activating...really wired me. But, now that I'm basically off all the ads, I'm wondering if it would have the same effect. I think the different meds interact with each other, so you don't always get the effect you're after.
As far as the Remeron goes, I'm weaning myself off of it by stopping it for as long as I can and then when the insomnia gets really bad, I'll take it for a couple of nights, and then stop it again. Just a different twist on tapering I guess. I'll take Ambien as my first line of defense for the insomnia though. We'll see what happens.
