I think you are ALL correct.
MD'S & PD'S are under constant pressure to prescribe the "newest" and "safest" medicines available.
I see more pharmacutical Reps waiting to see my MD than patients some days lol!I had a minor outpatient procedure Thur and I was given Valium for the first time to help relax me before the procedure.....I loved it!
I dont know what its half-life is...( they only gave me 5mg) but I was relaxed and sleepy the rest of the day.
