I took Serzone for six months and was taken off it when it was removed from the market.I didn't notice any muscle tension while taking it, in fact I think it improved it.
I didn't enjoy the amotivation and apathy it induced. It also made me forget words, people's names and made me struggle with reading comprehension (I was studying). It helped with depression but did little for social anxiety.
People seem to have such varied reactions to drugs, however, and I think the only way to find out is to give it a decent trial and see what you think.
