I am bi-polar also ADD, I was ADHD when I was in 2nd grade. But I don't like taking risperial or all those bipolar meds. It changes my personality, and I like to treat my ups and downs. The ADD isn't problematic. But I tried Neurontin and it works, but I usualy have to take 800mgs or more. But it seems to work much better when I take 400mg, and Valium 10mg or benzo's. But lately I have been taking it with nitrazapam 10mg. And wow, I was shocked at the ability to concentrate throughout the evening, I was talking to my friends about psychobabble and pharmacology, and they didn't know what I was talking about since, the med school has filled my head up with so many medical terminologies and doing many drug monographs
I do much better when I go with my bipolar untreated, I seem to get more ups than downs. When I use benzo's with gabapentin it I socialize so much, I mean and I don't even how to be drunk or party. I feel normal, equalitbrium. Because I have anxiety, and it treats that all at once too, nervousness, anxiety, calms me, and I am still able to study and concentrate.
I've thought about giving Abilify a try, I read on that quite a bit because it is an a typical antipsychotic. But I"ve done alot of reading on neurontin, very few sideeffects. Although odd in the mechanisms of how it works.
Any insights, what are the drug interactions of neurontin and dexedrine I take 15mg spansule once a day for school. Mainly because I like my impulsivity. It's part of my personality. because I'm suppose to take 2 a day
